Celebrities

How many celebrities have a direct impact on your life? Maybe you like watching sports and you think to yourself.... "OMG I want to be just like Serena Williams!" Or maybe you like watching movies or plays and say wow I want to be successful like those actors that get all dat money and then have famous relationships with all of the tabloids and the press following me around taking pictures trying to expose every waking moment of my life to the public and I want to do some crazy ass publicity stunts like holding a baby out the window of a 5 story building and then raping some children and then apologize for having multiple affairs when I knew it was wrong and I have a spouse and children of my own.
Seriously reconsider what is going through your mind if that is you that wants to be famous. From my position, I couldn't agree more that celebrities are everyday people and don't want to be pestered when they are going out to dinner, because they want a NORMAL dinner. People go GAGA over Ellsbury from the Red Sox, and I bet if they saw him in public, some people would be deemed insane enough to emit into a mental institute. HE IS A PERSON. There is no reason that anyone should be so excited to have met someone like him or any other celebrity for that matter. Yeah maybe they have done some cool stuff, but I'm sure that you yourself have accomplished some things that are just as cool just maybe the world doesn't know that.
We have fads for our celebrities too, Hannah Montana/ Miley Cirus, The Jonas Boys, some dumb boy bands that everyone listened to. These people have clothing at Wal-Mart with their faces on the shirts. WAL-MART IS BAD (see future blog about WAL-MART and how bad they are). I guess that when I grew up I didn't care for celebrities, I am terrible and knowing actors names, I just remember faces and maybe can remember what movies they have done in the past, but that's mostly because I care more about what people are doing around me than what other people that I have never met, are doing in the movie world, or sports world.
Most guys my age watch sports center and all of the sporting events that are on TV and shit, but I would honestly rather watch the discovery channel where I can be just as interested while bettering myself for the real world experiences that I will one day have, like drinking water from elephant dung, or jumping into ice cold water to see how cold it really is.
However, this is where I relate to celebrity likers, because I enjoy looking at good looking women, and I wouldn't know any other good looking women other than my one and only or the women that are around me day to day, so that is what is interesting about celebrities to me.
I work at a store where there is nothing to do usually except wait for customers to ask dumb questions they they could DEFINITELY answer themselves if they just took the time to look around maybe, but we have magazines at this store. So I read the magazines, mostly I enjoy reading TIME magazine because it's interesting stuff, and sometimes in entertain myself with all the stupid things in PEOPLE or US WEEKLY, that people actually want to know about celebrities. I'm pretty sure that when Sandra Bullock and Jesse James were breaking up, it was the biggest news ever, but who cares? When people like you and me break up with someone I'm pretty sure they almost always try to keep the real reason under wraps and don't make a huge scene about it. Man the word I'm searching for is..... ANNOYING. Everyone talks about how Brad and Angelina keep fighting or whatever. Just because they are good actors for their job, just like there are good teachers and good lab workers, doesn't mean that we can barge in on their personal lives.
All I am saying is that you wouldn't want to wake up to a shit load of people outside your home waiting to catch some pictures of you because the people of America want to see how you look when you wake up, or what you do when you wake up.
Just be yourself and leave other people alone, be with them if they ASK you to, not because of what stupid shit you got in your head.
