180 Degrees South/Achieving Your Wildest Dreams

This is a movie about achieving a dream, but not just any dream, and you should all watch this movie. I can give you a short plot summary to entice your curiosity pallet.
Two men, one the founder of The North Face, and the other the founder of Patagonia make a monumental trip to Patagonia in South America, taping their adventure on camera. They climbed the mountain Corcovado and surfed great swells in the ocean. They since have donated monies to help conserve 2 Million one acres of land . Another man saw this film of their trip and contacted the men and decided to take the same journey, a 6 month trip to climb one massive mountain. This is a documentary about this man's journey to achieve his dream.

Now what about you dreams? We all have them indefinitely, but do you know what they are? Everyone should have a defined list with their dreams of things that they would either like to do or accomplish before they die, a bucket list if you will, otherwise, what is living for? Ya ya I might have said that the point of living is to reproduce and make viable offspring that can then in turn have children themselves, but that's monotonous and life as a human being is much more than just that. There must be something that you all want to accomplish. Maybe it's to be a successful mother, or dental hygienist, or to invent something that will cure the world of a major epidemic. What ever it may be, you should define it and you should know what you have to do in order to achieve your dreams and aspirations.
Make a dream board, and hang it in your room near your desk.
On a large piece of paper, put all of your dreams and future accomplishments on, and put together words cut out of magazines or ones you want to write on, words of motivation. Look at this everyday, to remind yourself why you do what you do, and where your daily efforts are bringing you closer to.

Dr. Seuss once said, "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter."

There is SO much truth in that, and your dreams are what makes you you. Do what you want, and your true friends will support you, because they want you to remain you. Don't let people try to change you, but let people accentuate your true characteristics because thats the best you can be.

Also, look into The Last Lecture, by Randy Pausch, or watch the youtube video if you have time. Amazing story, and may inspire you to be pretty awesome.
