The many uses of vodka...

This just in...vodka is useful for more things than getting drunk. In fact it is a very versatile tool if you have some extra (cheap) stuff laying around. For instance:

  • Need a little anesthetic for a cut or blister? Apply vodka directly to your skin and it will be a mild pain reliever.
  • Hate the feeling of pulling off a band-aid? Well, if you pour vodka over the whole band-aid and let it sit for a minute or so, it will dissolve the sticky stuff and let you pull it off pain free!
  • Need a good, reusable ice pack? Mix one part vodka with one part water in a plastic baggie, press the air out and then seal it up and toss it in the freezer. It will be the perfect consistency because the alcohol won't freeze.
  • Add a splash of vodka to your shampoo to clean the scalp, remove toxins from your hair, and promote growth of healthy hair.
  • For an easy way to clean up puke stains (if maybe you had a bit too much vodka the night before) spray vodka on a stain, and scrub it with a brush, then blot it dry, and ta-da, no more stain!
  • Need mouthwash? Add a cup of vodka with 9 tablespoons of cinnamon. Seal it in a Tupperware container for 2 weeks. Then strain it through a coffee filter and you're ready to go. Just don't swallow any.
  • All out of face wash?  Use vodka to clean your skin and tighten your pores.
  • Finally, if you have access to enough vodka, it can actually work to make members of the opposite sex more attractive!
Well those are all the vodka facts I've been able to compile. If you know any others, leave a comment and I'll add it to the list.
